About Next Up Money

Plain-English money education for people who were never taught it.

My Story

Hi, I'm Lee.

I’ve owned businesses most of my adult life: a car dealership in the early 2000s, a computer business after that, and a wedding photography business here in York, PA for more than 13 years. My dad, my grandfather, and my brothers all run their own businesses too. Building things is in the family.

But watching my parents get closer to retirement taught me something I can’t shake. My mom had me at 18 and was never taught about money, 401(k)s, or retirement. My dad built business after business with his own hands and still never had a retirement plan. Two hardworking people, two different paths, same gap. Earning is not the same as owning.

So I started sharing what I was learning. First with my family. Then with friends and people at church who kept asking me how to open a brokerage account, or how to tell if something is a scam. Next Up Money grew out of those conversations.

Learn Money. Build Ownership. Own Your Future.

Our mission is to help everyday people understand money, investing, and retirement well enough to ask better questions, make their own decisions, and build real ownership. Next Up Money is a Next Up Innovations company, based in York, Pennsylvania.
